In some workplaces, there are health risks or hazards that cannot be fully controlled. Examples include exposure to noise or vibration, or to hazardous substances. When this is the case, a programme of health surveillance (or monitoring) and medicals can help make sure that any impact on your health is regularly measured.

An organisation’s health and safety risk assessments will establish which statutory regulations apply and what regular health surveillance is required. We can provide the monitoring and medicals an organisation needs to meet these obligations. This could include:
- Audiometry tests
- Vision screening
- Lung function testing
- Driver medicals
- Confined spaces medicals
- Hand Arm Vibration testing
- Working at Heights medicals
- Skin assessments
- Lead medicals
- Ionising Radiation
Appointments are usually in person, with one of our occupational health nurses. They can be at an employers’ site, or at one of our clinics (depending on your organisation’s contract and the service required).
If you are coming to an appointment, you will be asked to bring proof of identity, glasses (if worn, so you can fill out paperwork) and a list of current medications.
