We are Avon Partnership Occupational Health Services (APOHS)

Based in Bristol, our team of NHS occupational health specialists is one of the largest in the country. We offer a full range of services, with two fundamental aims: to help people be healthy at work; and to help workplaces be healthy for people.

We run assessments and consultations virtually or at one of our clinics in Bristol and Weston-super-Mare (depending on a client’s contract).

• Our support for employees includes an advice line, management referrals, new starter checks, physiotherapy, vaccinations, counselling, and wellbeing.
• Our support for managers includes help managing people with long-term sickness absence and making ‘reasonable adjustments’ for employees in the workplace.
• Our support for employers includes assessing and monitoring work environments (‘health surveillance’ and ‘health screening’) and carrying out pre-employment health (referred to as ‘Health at Work’).

Instead of offering a ‘one size fits all service’, we work to understand individual client needs and tailor a package of services that support your specific requirements.

We work hard to maintain the high clinical standards expected. We have SEQOHS and ISO 9001 accreditation.
